Today, I had a chance to speak with Hakuhodo.
When I asked them about their most popular makeup brushes, they told me that the Basic Series is exceptionally popular. Some great examples from this line include the J004, J110, and J5523, though there are so many options to choose from. I guess Hakuhodo has almost 1000 brushes.

They also shared a story about their customer service that really impressed me.
Sometimes, a customer will walk up to the counter and ask something very specific, like, “Which brush works best with this Chanel base powder?” When that happens, the staff will actually walk over to the Chanel counter on the same floor, borrow the exact powder, and demonstrate how the brush works with it right in front of the customer.
I think this level of care and attention to detail is great.
